A dream come true. With much work and dedication to details; I am where I want to be.
This modern state of the art  kennel is right across my driveway from my home and it is my
home for the day. We use the most up to date monitoring system to keep close eye on what is
going on in the kennel after we have retired for the day. This system allows me to watch
them from my computer in my home.  Our babies; their sires and dams  have all the comfort
and care that can be given with climate controlled, clean facilities. I employ full time help
so that all the little ones have the personal attention that they require to be happy and
healthy when they arrive at your home. We enjoy a large office and grooming area; it
makes the work a breeze.  Please consider a Back Forty Puppy to be your next companion
and  know that if you let me send you a puppy; it will be what your expecting. Bred for
loving from Champion bloodlines.

A big hello from here in Central MS. I'm Fran and he's Billy Joe. We are the proud owners of Back
Forty Farm and Kennel. People ask me where did the name come from? My dad had 40 acres on the
back of his property that he always referred to as the Back Forty. Not too many years after we
married; Billy Joe and I purchased this piece of land;  and have since referred to it as such. We
have indeed come along way baby. The Back Forty is a rather large farm as we have added more
acreage over the years. Our primary operation consist of  6 huge poultry houses; 50' x 500'; and a
sizeable herd of beef cattle. The two operations compliment each other.  It's hard; honest work and
the Lord has truly Blessed us.
Picture taken May 2007. We don't get away often and we have long wanted to do a cruise to
Alaska. This was nice and very picturesque; the trip of a lifetime and one I'd love to do again if
time allows and old age doesn't see fit to stop us.
True love and devotion to each other is hard to find. Billy Joe and I celebrated 48 years of
marriage  Jan. 11, 2013. We have been blessed to enjoy being with one another; working together at
something we both love. We go to the American Legion dancing every Sat. nite if all is well in the
kennel and on the farm. Great country music and time for us to take our minds off what we didn't get
done this week or what we need to do tomorrow. We look forward to our Date night. :-).
God is Good.

Date night; having a great time bringing in the New Year 2010.
After being off a motorcycle for 20 yrs; here we are. Some folks buy motor homes; we are back to
riding. We don't have a lot of play time but we manage to ride here and there. Billy Joe said he just
didn't remember how much he loved it. We are members of the American Legion Riders here at Post
112 in Jackson MS.
We do a lot of benefit rides for battered and abused children and escorts for our military service men
and women. Those killed in action or just the deceased veterans. We do send off escorts and welcome
home meet and greets at the airport.
Normally one bike is enough. Billy Joe started having some severe back pain, hip pain going down
his leg & was concerned that he might couldn't get his foot down in time to keep us from falling. We
love the bike so much and didn't want to give it up so we purchased a 2011 Harley TriGlid in Oct. of
2010. With some relief for his back pain we will ride both. My son that lives here on the farm with us
is sure proud this is a 2 bike family. He and his wife ride the Trike more than we do. :-)
