The Bulldog has a height of between 12 and 14 inches, a weight of 53 to 55 pounds for males and approximately 40 pounds for females, and a median lifespan of 12 years. Strong teeth, round eyes, a short coat, and rose ears are staple physical characteristics. The Bulldog is a breed that loves its home and owners with a passion. It prefers to be treated with dignity and respect and deserves a posh life indoors. It's been described as the ideal family dog. The Bulldog is a non-sporting dog that descended from dogs in Asia originally bred for bull baiting and dog fighting. Nomads and villagers took the dog to Europe, but they increasingly became an American staple when bull baiting was outlawed in England. In reference to celebrities that own bulldogs, it's important to note that bulldogs are frequently seen in movies, online skits, and television shows because they're amiable, friendly, and have a distinctive face that people never tire of.
